Happy October 1st everyone!! Today feels like the actual first day of fall here in Texas. It was a brisk, almost chilly, morning with dew on the ground and car windows. Everybody seems to be pulling out their Fall decorations. It's sunny for the first time since Thursday. I love it!
Sidebar: I felt my first earthquake on Saturday night! Two, in fact. It was so crazy, we do NOT get earthquakes here. One was a 3.4 and the other was a 3.1.

My brother and sister-in-law got a new family member on Friday, meet Hattie! They unexpectedly lost their last lab about 6 months ago to a heart attack so I'm excited for them to have this new little bundle of joy.
